The Token Restroom

When you gotta go, you gotta go. Unless you're at Borders bookstore at Gresham Station. They've installed locks on their restrooms, and you need to ask a sales clerk for a token. They're doing this as a way to mitigate the endless graffiti. A Google search reveals that token access restrooms are in place at several Borders locations.

The tokens seem to have eliminated the graffiti, at least for now. I never saw a restroom so completely covered with graffiti before the token system was implemented. Good for Borders.

Now, if only they'd require a token to allow screaming, unattended small children to enter the store. . . .
