Mark your calendars for July 16. That's the date of this year's Summerfest. You won't want to miss the giant rooster and chick that will be appearing. Th rooster, of course, will be leading the "chicken dance" at Glen Otto Park.
I'll be the guy in the rooster suit, and my wife, the lovely Tana, will be the chick. Which she already is. So she'll be a chick in a chick suit.
I also should say a word for the great Corbett 4th of July Parade. Read the Gresham Outlook for details for all the great activities in Corbett that day. But you gotta see one of the best parades around.
It's been almost a year since my mother passed away...I still miss her a lot. I love you, Bev Bubbles.
