Troutdale City Council candidates' political signs are popping up here and there. The early sign planters are candidates Norm Thomas (incumbent), Matt Wand, Pat Smith, and Jim Kight. Not that they're not out there, but I have yet to see signs for candidates Barbara Kyle (incumbent) or Marianne Vier.
Since ballots will be mailed out in late October, there's only a little more than a month left for a decent political sign war.
Come on, candidates, forget the city's sign code! Stack your signs higher! Let's see some real skyscrapers! (I'm kidding. Just KIDDING.)
