The Mrs. and I took Friday afternoon off and hit the campaign trail, going door to door for our favorite Troutdale city council candidates. For our reward, we drove to Canby's Flower Farmer for a Fright Night train ride on the Great Pumpkin Express. We hauled 40 lbs of pumpkins back onto the train and headed back to the rail station for some hot cider.
Check out the dried flowers when you visit. They're everywhere! 
The Canby Ferry was still operating, so we hopped aboard for the drive home via Wilsonville and I-5.(Picture of Canby Ferry Courtesy of Canby Chamber of Commerce)
