Troutdale Wind Gusts 52mph: Trees Down, Shingles Off

According the National Weather Service hourly observations for Troutdale, the east wind has been blowing a steady 32-38mph with gusts each hour at 46-52mph since around noon today. Here's the data for this afternoon/evening:

While driving home from a friends house just a short while ago, we witnessed a downed tree on SE Stark St. just east of Evans Ave. There was another downed tree near Sweetbriar Elementary school. As we drove down SE Pelton Ave, the power went off. All the local streets had several small downed branches. Several homes had downed fences. It's going to be a long night tonight in Troutdale.
